  Both of the statements in this sentence are false. First, the LDS church is not considered a Christian church by any of the mainstream accepted christian denominations -- if the very definition of what a "Christian" belief system is accepted by all the other warring religious factions, with the LDS church being the sole outlier, than someone is lying about what defines Christianity. Which religion is it? Second, the LDS church still teaches polygamist values, which are practiced in their temple ceremonies. LDS men can be sealed to as many eternal wives as they can collect, while LDS women can only be sealed to one man at a time -- if a woman is sealed to a man and he dies, then she remarries, she has two choices: one, remain sealed to him, and all her children by her second husband will be considered part of the eternal family of herself and her first husband OR appeal to the church authorities to break the sealing to her first husband so that she may be sealed to her second husband.

  The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints does NOT teach polygamist values nor encourage this practice. This practice in NOT in the temples. Polygamy has been outlawed for over 125 years; any practicing member of the LDS church will be excommunicated if they are involved in polygamy. This practice is continued in some off-shoots of the main branch, but is still not legal within the laws of the USA. The LDS church focuses on the family and the values needed to raise children with strong foundation of a testimony of God the Father, Jesus Christ, the Holy Ghost, and the truth found in the scriptures. All members have free-agency, none are forced to live against their wishes. Please know that the LDS church is friendly to all people of other religions.

  I love being a member here!!! Come here o Sundays at 9 or 1. Ask for the missionaries if you want to know about it!

  This church was full of friendly welcoming members. I attended here in my youth, and they have a great program for that. All of their teachings and classes were centered on Christ.

  I went to this church building for many years (until I moved away). I have many fond memories going here to learn about Christ and His teachings. The people are really friendly and welcoming. One thing I really like about this church is that it is the same everywhere you go. When I move to a new location, I know where to go to find consistent beliefs and practices. I have a much stronger relationship with my Savior because of the things I have learned here!
